I have been creating flag display cases for over 12 years. I am the owner/designer and builder of each flag display case. You are getting an original design flag case, individually handcrafted and one-of-a-kind. *Diamond* & *Heirloom* are trade marks of Displayit, LLC. Each flag case is hand made by me and no one else in the world. My High Quality Flag Display Cases 1. I use between 9-15 separate pieces of wood (depending on which flag case you order) jointed and glued together with between 15-29 hardwood biscuits, just to create the solid wood frame of the flag display case. Other flag cases are made from 3 pieces of wood and may be nailed, stapled or even screwed together.
2. I created a design that allows you to replace the glass front if it is accidentally broken. Other flag cases may have the glass built right into the frame of the case and you can't replace it. You will have to buy another flag case if broken.
3. I route in keyholes used to hang the flag display case flag against the wall. Other flag cases may have nailed on hangers or nothing at all to hang the flag case.
4. I use screws to fasten the back to the frame and the screws are recessed so when you hang the case on the wall it will lay flat. Other flag cases may use plastic clips that stick out and get in the way if you want to hang your flag case.
5. I use veneered plywood for the back of the case. Other flag cases may use masonite or pressed wood for their flag case backs.
6. I use 3/4" thick solid wood to create our flag display cases. Others may use veneer covered pressed wood or picture frame stock pre-manufactured with a vinyl coating.
7. All of my flag cases are branded with Displayit and the year it was handmade by me the designer/owner of the company. Other flag cases may just be mass-produced.
8. I individually hand craft all of our flag display cases from scratch. Others may use pre-made stock made outside the USA.
9. I believe I have created the most unique, highest quality and labor intensive flag cases in the market today.
